Charlotte Bryant Competition Events UK News Wakeboarding — 12 July 2011
This weekend saw the UK’s premier wakeboarding festival – Wakestock, return to Cardigan Bay in North Wales for some extreme water fun. The event was blessed by sunshine, drawing out huge crowds who turned up to watch some of the worlds top wakeboarders throw down some epic stunts.
The girls competition was tight, but Argentinian Robbie Rendo stole the show and the crown from the former Wakestock champion Australian Amber Wing. Robbie threw down with ridiculous style, but UK rider Charlotte Bryant was close behind in second place, impressing both the judges and crowd with her steezy spins.

[...] After a very cold and wet night, Saturday morning crept in and lord was it hot! Having to vacate the tent reasonably early due to the heat, we made our way down to the marina to chill out in the sun and watch some top quality wakeboarding. The talent on the water was fierce and I was so stoked that I got to see some of the worlds top Wakeboarders strut their stuff.
