Check out our review of the SMOKIN VIXEN Womens 2011/2012 Snowboard, part of our 11/12 snow season product review series!

OUR THOUGHTS

Ok so I am going to be honest, we didn’t get a chance to test either of the Smokin Womens Boards at this years Boardtest in Kaunertal, Austria.  Not because we didn’t want to – no, we wanted to shred on both of their amazing looking boards, but unfortunately so did EVERYONE else!  The queue to test the Smokin Vixen was huge, it seemed that as soon as it came back from giving one girl the ride of her life it would be straight back up the hill, putting huge smiles on the faces of girls who thought they had ridden it all.

We caught up with some of the Pro’s who were testing the boards and they all had nothing but great things to say about both boards.  Unfortunately this is a top of the range board and comes with a top of the range price tag.  But can you really put a price on the best ride of your life?

BASIC TECH DETAILS

The Transworld Snowboarding Good Wood Top 5 winning Vixen features our most advanced technologies  in a shape and flex built from the ground up for the female rider. For 11/12 the Vixen is available only in Clash Rocker, Smokin’s most sought after camber design for it’s versatility, responsiveness and pop.  Taking some park laps? The stable tip and tail of the vixen will help you stomp those landings while the rocker in between helps you jib like a pro. Ripping corduroy? Enjoy agile response from the Vixen’s moderate sidecut featuring Magne Traction. Hunting down pow? Clash Rocker and a park flex will help you float right over it whether its first tracks or 3 oclock chunder.  The Vixen is the ultimate choice for women looking to take their riding to a new level of power and style.
