With a new venue and a bigger prize purse, this years Vans UKSA National Skateboarding Championships are already off to a good start!  Taking place at THE XC, Hemel Hempstead on 22nd/23rd October, pro and sponsored skaters will get the chance to tear up the street course in a bid to take the title.  The girls competition is set to go ahead at midday on Sunday, and even if you don’t fancy competing yourself, get down there and show your support!

All competitors must pre-register by emailing Nic Powley at nic@backroomoperations.com as soon as possible!  Entry fee is a tenner for competitors, and spectators can just watch or skate as well. The venue has a large spectator capacity but there’s a limited amount of skate/spectate tickets available (35 places). This will let you to skate the pool/bowl and mini ramp all day, watch the comp, have a ringside view and allow you to skate in the pool jam if you want.
