Hey Aimee, how are you doing?

Hey doing good, just spent the past month out in Hintertux, had a blast, just trying to fit in as much riding as I can before the season kicks off!

Was good to see you at the London Freeze Festival this weekend, did you enjoy yourself? What were your highlights?

London Freeze was sooo much fun, I love going to that event every year, it’s great to catch up with everyone, and support the Brits in the World Cup. Also we had the premier of the Lipstick movie 5 More Minutes, that was a really good turn out, the screening room was full and everyone was stoked on the movie!

We see that you got your face on the landing page of the Roxy European site, you must be pretty happy with that?

Yeah pretty surreal really! I never ever expected that when I first started Snowboarding!

So you have already been out in Tux, what are your plans for the rest of the winter?

My main plan is to work on my progression, do a few comps and hopefully the results will follow! I would like to film some as well, I have been speaking to Cheryl Maas about potentially hooking up with her for a pow trip! Who know’s, we’ll see!

Have you got any new tricks up your sleeve that you can let us know about?

Just wait and see! They are coming!!!

What competitions can we expect to see you at and have you got any trips that your excited about?

I have just booked a trip to Breckenridge, it’s always a super fun time out there! I will be competing in the Dew Tour for the first time as well so I am looking forward to that!

How do you feel about slopestyle being in the Olympics and are you going to be going for it?

Stoked that they bought slopestyle in, and yes that’s for sure a long term goal of mine! But right now I am just going to focus on enjoying my snowboarding and all the traveling I am getting to do and hopefully the Olympics is something that will just happen if my riding is on form.

Anything else you wanna say?

Big shout out to my sponsors, Roxy, Vans, TSA, Bliss by Level Gloves, Sterling socks co and Star Ski chalets. Also a big shout out to my TM Lesley Mckenna, Hamish Mcknight from the GB team and Dan Wakeham from Sterling socks.

[...] With a winning run that consisted of a cab underflip 5, a backside 3 and a backside rodeo 5 to switch boardslide over the rainbow, Aimee has thoroughly kicked her season off to a terrific start, and we are sure this is only the beginning of big results for the Roxy rider.
