Last weekend saw the Burton High 5 Tour roll into Milton Keynes for its 4th stop. The series pits the countries best park shapers against each other in a bid to win the coveted ‘Golden Shovel’. Their creations are then tested by snowboarders who themselves compete to win the Hi-5 title! Wonderful.
Milton Keynes saw the park team create what has been described as the most progressive park so far, and the riders were keen to hit it. Stand out female rider from the night was Becky Menday who took 1st place overall and 1st in kids. Izzy and Orla Doolin were right on her tail, taking 3rd and 2nd place in the overall competition, with Skyla Bailey and Cerys Allen in 3rd and 2nd place in the kids category. Natalie Silkstone managed a fantastic 1st in youth category despite a couple of nasty slams. Well done to all the girls who got down there and took part!
Burton Hi5 2011 lands at Chill Factore this friday for the 5th stop of this years tour, and with only one more after this, be sure not to miss out!
