Surf | A Quick Catch Up With Hannah Harding

After a summer of owning it at many British surf competitions, Animal team surfer Hannah Harding has had the unfortunate task of heading back to her winter home of Bali. Poor Hannah!

I have just got to Bali straight off the back of winning the women’s 2011 Uk Pro Surf Tour, so you could say life is pretty sweet right now! So stoked to have won the Tour, its something I have really wanted to do since I started surfing five years ago and with the backing and support from my sponsors Animal I was able to do my first proper year.

To be honest I never expected to win it, don’t get me wrong I obviously wanted to, but there are a lot of really good UK women surfer’s right now and we’re all pushing each other, which is good healthy competition. Winning’s given me a huge boost and Im amped to get my training program on in preparation for the start of next years contest season.

Part of my training is video analyses, which I swear by and am sure is part of the reason I have improved so rapidly. To be able to see visually where you need to correct yourself is such a massive help.
