Thanks to the lovely Sophie Addison for sending in this How To Snowboard article on doing a Backside Boardslide.

Backside Boardslide

Photo 1: Ride towards the rail with it behind you. Have a medium speed that you are in control of. Not too slow or the trick will become harder. SPEED IS YOUR FRIEND :)

Photo 2: Open your shoulders and pop an ollie slightly off you heel edge.

Photo 3: Whilst in the air, you want to look where you are going to land on the rail which will be at 90degrees with the rail between your bindings.

Photo 4: Now on the rail you want to be flat base, looking towards the end. You want your front shoulder to be in front of you so you can ride away regular.

Photo 5: At the end of the rail, pop off and because of your previous shoulder positioning your legs will follow you and you will ride away regular.

Photo 6: Ride away clean. (Excuse my facial expression.)
