Your tale reminds me very much of my first holiday away - when my enthusiasm was greater than my skill. I also suffered from my holiday buddies taking me down slopes that I wasn't remotely capable of and it totally shattered my confidence. So I know all about the tantrums and the fear of being stranded up the mountain after dark!! I've laughed a lot reading your story given the correlation with my own experiences. My only advice would be to you and any readers in a similar situation is to get more lessons. Tammy clearly got you moving again, but some more guidance probably wouldn't go amiss. I know they're expensive when your struggling on a seasonaire's budget, but I your fun will multiply exponentially as you improve, so it's money well spent to ensure you get the most out of your season.
